Character Background:
Vidocan studied the guards brining him to prison. Eight on the street and possibly more in a tavern or some place nearby, and most looked like they knew how to use the clubs at their belts. It would be easier to play their game and buy them off with a couple of silver coins … but the thought of paying for safe passage in this town did not sit well with him. Besides, Vidocan told himself, they are probably not as reasonable as they say they are, then again….

Vidocan let his drunken mind drift to think of the good old days with "The General" in the wild woods of the west.

" Hao! Dai ye! We won again! This is good, but what is best in life?" commanded the General with a raised eyebrow to his barbarian horde.

All except one answered "The open steppe, fleet horse, falcons at your wrist, and the wind in your hair!"

The General yelled back at them with anger on his face and a hint of disgust in his voice. "Wrong! Vidocan! Tell them what is best in life?"

Vidocan screamed it out loud so all of the Dragonborn Barbarians could hear, "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women."

The General looked at Vidocan with pride and spoke loud enough for all to hear "That is good! That is good Vidocan!"

Vidocan remembered that day fondly, the barbarian pride surged through him. What was he doing here in this sorry town called Brockton trying to be like these towns folk? Maybe it is time to follow the ways of the Barbarian, and give himself what is best in life….
